Picked this 2007 SD up 02/20/2021 (so I consider all of these pics current) and made some quick work about stripping it down and putting it back together. Finishing touches (KTM stickers) were applied 03/07/2021. My fondest memory is when I found a mouse's nest in the airbox (mummified mouse pic available upon request). My favorite aspect of the bike is that I saved it from a miserable condition, and now The Power of Orange lives on!!!

When the prototype of the 1290 was introduced, it was destined for my garage. As such, I am the original and proud owner of a 2015 SDR. This Gen1 embodies what raw power and fun should be. Close to 7 years later and every ride puts a smile on my face. As for mods, there are a few:

This might be one of the best off road bikes ever made it's my 2020 KTM 250XC TPi
The only mod is a high compression head and flashed ECU by Silber. It really doesn't need anything more.

This my build, a KTM 300EXC 2008 Model. I brought it dirt cheap, but it had been left for dead half under cover by one of those project jumping hoarder types... The motor was full of water and it was covered in rust and cobwebs I have replaced almost everything on the bike. It has:-
Wossner Athena Forged Piston and Top End Rebuild Kit
Excel/Talon Rims and Hubs
Dunlop D606 Rear and D6060F Front Tyres
Vee Rubber Heavy Duty Inner Tubes
Enforcer Solid Rear Disc
RaceTech Plastics
FMF Gnarly Header Pipe
FMF Powercore2 Slip On
Polisport Armadillo Pipe Guard
Strike Custom Seat Cover
D.I.D 520DZ Gold Chain
ProX Counter Shaft Seal Kit
All Balls Steering Head Bearing Kit
Ballards Aluminium Fuel Tank Cap
Ballards Light Weight Steel 52T Sproket
KTM Frame Protection Set
Old Answer Handle Bars from the late 90s
GPI Radiator Hoses, might go back to the original thermostat design
RHK Nuts & Bolts Kit
Nitro MX Custom Graphics
Berg Racing USA Fork Covers
Ballards Kick Stand
KTM Intake Flange
RHK Bark Busters
RHK Chain Guide
RHK Chain Roller

and lots of little bits and pieces, bling etc
This was my first ever build and to be honest I made quiet a few mistakes and brought a few things that didn't fit!! Like a clutch cover/cover, front disc cover where the wheel spacer was wrong and I even took too many links out of brand new o-ring chain. The worst was when I broke the tip off of the swing arm pivot bolt by not having it sit right and kept on tightening, That was $127 from KTM Newcastle to replace...Rookie mistakes !! All in all I am quiet happy with my first build, it was a learning experience and I found it much more rewarding then just buying a new bike. I still do need a few things like a bash guard, speedometer and some after market foot pegs to top it off. The last picture is from the day I got it.

Picked up this 2007 690 sm yesterday. I've always wanted a ktm and now it's time to play. Favorite thing about it is that's it's my 3rd bike and my fastest yet. It may not be the prettiest but I think itll be a blast.

Bought this 2010 RC8 last year, took off the carbon bits and custom seat, rearsets. Back to stock. Got a good deal on a full set of repairable REDBULL bodywork and added BST wheels. That's

how it looks now.
