My kick starter assembly will not come free of the case. Seems like the spacer bushing on the outside is rusted on. Any suggestions?

Is this your same SX 125 from previous post? What year is it? Can you post the parts breakdown for your motor showing the item number in drawing that is giving you trouble? It would be helpful.

That sleeve that is on the kick start shaft that we see in the picture needs to come off. You can either heat it up, try to pull it off or use a hammer to hit the shaft through (use a aluminum piece between the shaft and hammer...) They tend to get stuck after years of use.

+1 with our friend @Axzon on his suggestion. Best to put engine side cover on a few blocks of wood to protect machined surfaces during surgery. You can use a small propane torch to heat ring slightly. Dont have to get it red hot, just hot enough to expand it and break the oxidation that holds parts together. Once they warm up a few good taps should have you sorted out.
