Sorry if posted in wrong place,
As stated drained clutch fluid and had all gears, (no this because bled incorrectly first time and when tried to set off in first it stalled obviously due to no fluid bled wrong)
Bled up correctly or so i think, but now no first gear can get others no problem?
Any ideas and thanks for patience as im new to forums and bikes

Cheers and welcome to the forum.

What year bike?

Well 1st and 3rd are on the same shift fork.
You are getting 3rd gear?

To me it sounds like an obstruction or
a block to the shift fork going down (since 1st is down all the
rest are up).

Well #3 is the 1st/3rd shift fork.

It's a bit of a pain in the @ss to get to it.

Just to make it easy on yourself, pull the clutch cover #26 (with the bike
on it's left side) and see how the clutch operates. It may be the
rod is not moving enough to get into first. Other wise you'll have
to pull the ignition cover side apart.

I'd replace the disks, you can get them for
under $80 on ebay with springs.

The push rods are like $20 at a dealer, or get one
used on ebay.
