I'm interested mainly in dirt bikes. I am currently restoring my grandfather's old race bike. It's a 1987 KTM 350 GS Enduro. Getting parts is proving to be difficult though.
Hello and welcome Ben. 350s were quite capable bikes back in their day. Nothing will stop them. Not even a frightened rider can't slow them once they're moving. Awesome bikes even by modern standards. Plenty powerful and capable but just a bit heavy. Parts for the 80s models are a bit tricky but some of the old time European vendors can source most parts needed. Ignition and electrical parts are sometimes difficult to source. We have some vintage KTM owners here on forum perhaps some can chime in with parts sourcing help for you. Be sure to post lots of pictures of your vintage bike. We all appreciate those. Best of luck with your restoration be sure to report progress here
