Ok, just like the title says. I rode my bike to church today, started right up at home no problems. When I got ready to leave and hit the button to turn ignition on it didn't do anything. Tried again and it made that sound like it was going to turn on but still didn't do anything. After trying several times I finally took key fob out of my pocket and held it right in front of the speedo screen. Once I did this it lit up and went through the "ready to race" screen and I was able to start it. It has done this once before but I thought it might have just been a glitch. Anyone have this happen before? was thinking maybe the battery in the fob might be weak but I've only had this bike 3 months.

I'll never understand why all maufacturers, of all kinds of vehicles, have gone to the fob system. Next thing you know, I'll have to have a fob for my lawnmower, just to cut the grass! Then a fob for the string trimmer!
