Has anyone set up their bike with a bluetooth OBD transmitter? Something like OBDLink MX+?? I used Harry’s Lap Timer app on my iPhone on my old bike, but the ‘93 900SS is old school. With the RC8R having a brain, I’d like to add TP, RPM, and Gear to the overlay.
Just curious what folks may be using before I try to find room to stuff the rottweiler tune ecu cable somewhere. There isn’t room under the seat after putting the gripone TC and Translocic QS wires in the space next to the battery.

Have you tried to put them in the space under the pillion seat? I have my autotune and PC5 in there

I have the Gripone TC unit under the seat. I want to be able to access the DCL connector is I ever have to use TuneECU again without having to take the tail apart. I put the Gripone unit where I could still plug in the connector. I'll make that workout.

I'm more interested in what OBD Dongle folks are using. I have an iPhone with Harry's Lap Timer.

I have harrys lap timer app on my iPhone. You need the adapter that plugs into the bike and has the DLC plug on the ither end. Its the black cable in the rottweiler snip. I just ordered the OBD bluetooth “dongle”. I just got to find space to put the cable and dongle under seat. I may have to take the seat apart. Might be best to confirm it automatically switches off once the ignition is killed, or maybe at least a few minutes after.

I know some cars continue to provide 12v on certain pins, I'd like to think motorcycle manufacturers realise an OBD port on a small capacity battery shouldn't be working in the same way.
