New 2016 GT, fresh out of the crate. The QS is turned on in the menu but is not working at all. No codes.

Any ideas before I take it to the service dept?

They may have to turn it on.
I had mine in for warranty repair that required a software download.
QS got shut off in the process, even though it showed being on in the dash menu.
Took it back in and they turned it right back on for me.

Yes that is correct, the dealer has to turn the QS on ....... my dealer told me they usually wait until the first service (1000km/620ml) before they enable the QS. You probably shouldn't be using the QS on a brand new engine until you've done a few 000mls anyway.

This happened to me a year ago after trying to get a new key fob programmed. They deleted the software. Sounds like your bike is ready for it, but it's not installed. On mine it was part of the performance pack. I'm not well versed enough to know if it's the same on the GT models or not, but I'd bet at least 1 dollar that is your problem.
