Hi forum team racers , if you find any sites that greatly aid in tuning , add the link here.
Dont know how many times i have nutted something out and posted links on the forums but could never find the thread again.

Spark plug chart- http://www.4secondsflat.com/plug_chart.html
Detailed used plug images including sample heat range images

Spark plug heat range identifier- http://www.briskusa.com/spark_plug_cross_reference_heat_range_chart

Question- can i spray wd-40 in my ignition, etc

I started searching many pages inside google search and not many answers.
But in terms of on the shelf and works and not much technical data advising not to use it , i guesss wd-40 is the go to product

Appearance: Aerosol—Aerosolized Liquid
Bulk—Liquid
Color: Light (or pale) amber
Odor: Characteristic
Freeze Point/Pour Point: -63˚ C ( -81.4˚ F)( ASTM D-97)
Kinematic Viscosity @ 100˚ F: 2.79 - 2.96cSt
Specific Gravity @ 60˚ F: 0.8-0.82
Boiling Point : 183˚- 187 ˚ C (361˚ F - 369 ˚ F)
Vapor Density: >1
Flash Point: 49˚ C (122˚ F)(Tag Open Cup)
Volatile by volume: 70% - 75%
Lower flammability limit: 0.6%
Upper flammability limit: 8.0%
Vapor Pressure: Aerosol: 95-115 psi @ 21˚ C (70˚F)
Bulk: 1 psi @ 38˚C (100˚F)(ASTM D323)

. It quickly removes adhesives,
corrosion and paint. It displaces moisture to restore water flooded
equipment such as engines, spark plugs and power tools.

Operating Temperature: -10˚ F to 200˚ F
Dielectric Strength: 44,400 - 47,800 Volts
Solubility in Water: Insoluble
What is dielectric strength of a material?
In physics, the term dielectric strength has the following meanings: Of an insulating material, the maximum electric field that a pure material can withstand under ideal conditions without breaking down (i.e., without experiencing failure of its insulating properties).

Spark test-Easy to verify.
Somewhat of a guru Slavensracing using a simplified spark test.

Bike braking down
A trick I use to do is tape my timing light to the bars pointing back at me and ride the bike. If the timing light cut out you new that it was an ignition problem. If it's dying and the timing light is still blinking and you have a new plug, then you can start chasing fuel.

Which stroke?

Yes you can check your valve clearance "lash" great.

Are you checking on the TDC stroke or?

TPS adjustment on the trail or street
Turning the tps "up' adds fuel and idles higher.
hearing tips= find the nice idle and go from there" , "easy start + nice idle"
open exhaust=needs a little fuel.
Why re-map when youve got the tunability from factory

Seafoam in the gas helped my bike run a lot better and smoother - then I cleaned the injector manually and changed the fuel filter and all was good.

This may help you:

This guy uses compressed air instead, not sure how good that is for the injector to be forced open without it electronically actuating on its own, but he seems careful:

Hi!! How i set my float hight properly ??? I have a pwk 38
Thx !!

The float needs to be parallel with the carbi. If not then adjust the small "tongue" that pushes the needle valve

Here a very basic video of the operation. When you check don't have the weight of the float pushing on the needle but only resting on the needle lightly. This is the reason you keep the carbi at 45 degrees.
