Can you use KTMs font?

 

All of those are fonts KTM has used. Not sure which font you are referring to, MishMash. Can you post an example?

 

No Problem. So by example, I took this from the KTM North America Instagram account when they were giving one away:

Just comparing to this:

Overall, the slant angle is not the same as KTM's
A) The number 1 is narrower and not as fat as KTM's oem
B) The number 3 is different in spacing and how the notch in the middle right side is shaped
C) The number 9 has a more rectangular opening at the top of the character than KTM's own, and the gap between the bottom of round section and its leg is larger than OEM
D) The number 0 has a narrower opening in the middle.

As for the word "SUPER DUKE", you can see all the differences visually side by side.

To me, it does not look right because of all of that. If you are using older KTM fonts, I get it but to me it does not look right.

I haven't created any of these for a commercial undertaking, just a few ideas for my own decals (like the one I put on my car).

Sadly, I don't have access to the actual font KTM seem to use. I suspect, neither does KTM, because the font looks similar across their marketing, but is definitely different between various marketing. Not having access to the font, I have created the individual letters or, in some cases, such as the "SUPER DUKE", used a font that may be similar to something KTM has used at some point.

Yes, as you noticed, I stood the 43 degree angled text up a bit for more clarity when dark on light. Here's one based on the graphics off the side of an actual 1390SDR... The "1390" digits are definitely different from your example.

It's all a work in progress and revisions abound.
