I got spark and fuel going to cylinder, but no start or even pop or backfire. Maybe the spark is weak? Checking the stator, I have 1.4 ohms from plug to solder on each of the 4 wires going to stator. No shorts to ground. Coil winding, good continuity. On the two wires going to that little black box (what is it?) I have 104 ohms. Is that about right for that little black box? Spark plug is new. Plug boot good. The Spark Plug coil ohms out just like a new one I compared it to.
What else might be the problem?

Thank you!

If you have spark you may have other troubles. Try giving a spray of ether into carburetor and see if you get a pop or a sputter. Disconnect kill switch and try it. Stator resistance values are in your factory manual. If you need manual, ask here. If you won't start with e start, try kicker. Hope you replaced spark plug and resistor cap first. If not, replace both now. Cheap and simple to replace. Never trust a spark plug even if you just took it out of its box. Try a new one. Check back as needed for assistance
