Holy smokes that guy is good!
It's 2 different guys. One is on a Gen3 with BST Mamba 7-spokes, the other one is on a Gen2 with super lightweight RotoBox Bullet wheels. (I've been looking at carbon fiber wheels too much lately.)

I expected the 1290s to jump the Busas out of the hole but they maintained the lead all the way to the finish line!

Wonder what these guys did to their motors to accomplish that?!?!

Cheers
Lighter weight, torque, 3-ft swingarm. And those guys nailed their starts.

Different KTM each race with different riders.

What kind of drag racing is this where someone can red light and still win? Both of the first 2 KTM's red lit. The first one even left WAY before the GSX-R 1000 and some how showed a slower reaction time by 0.06 if that is what the number is that's shown during their run. Too bad the footage doesn't show the light when the bikes leave in the first 2 passes.

Those are quick times. My best back in the day was 11.2 on a stock CBR1100XX. Man, that was a lifetime ago!

I can't tell, the lights are a blur. Wish they had recorded where we can see the tree.

It's pretty basic drag strip operations to redlight jumps. I think the Suzuki riders are just slow and the KTM riders nailed their starts.

Big bore in the sense that for example the 990 Superduke and the 1190 RC8 weren't the serious dragstrip contenders that the 1290 motor allows it to be.
