How does the spark plug color look?

Is the head pipe turning (more) blue?

You just want to verify you aren't running too lean.

 

Lean means the mix has too much air in it, right? If so, what screw/knob should I turn and in what direction?

I usually drop the needle jet (reduce air).
You raise the clip to lower the needle.

Go one clip.
