I'm 5'7 and have a 2019 SMC R. It has a 35 inch seat height. I slide a cheek and tripod at stops. I got the more comfortable KTM Powerparts seat that's a little wider and possibly a little taller. That being said, I imagine the 790 AR has a wider seating area compared to my SMC R. The SMC R is also quite a bit lighter which makes it much easier to handle at stops and slow speeds.

In the end though, your height shouldn't detract you from getting awesome bikes. Sliding a cheek and tripod-ing it is not a big deal at stop signs. And if you need to back your bike to park, your very tippy toes should touch the ground. And you can always get off the bike and push. Ain't no shame in doing that.

The best bikes are the ones with high seat heights.
