I have a 2007 250 sx and gas pours out of the overflow. The needle and seat look fine. I tried bending the tab holding the needle up a little. No help. Then I bought a new carb, put my jetting in it, same problem. The float bowl apears to only go on one way. WHAT THE HECK AM I DOING WRONG??? Thanks.

Thank you bajadog. There just isnt anything else besides what you mentioned in your post that could cause overflowing in a new carb. Correct? If I lift the float up with my finger until it's almost level it shuts off the fuel from the tank, but when I put the float bowl back on, it still overflows. It's driving me nuts. The carb is new, all I did is change the jetting. Is there anything special about putting the float bowl back on? That little copper tube seems to only fit up in there one way. It's got to be something stupid that I'm doing. Thanks.
