I have a 2007 250 sx and gas pours out of the overflow. The needle and seat look fine. I tried bending the tab holding the needle up a little. No help. Then I bought a new carb, put my jetting in it, same problem. The float bowl apears to only go on one way. WHAT THE HECK AM I DOING WRONG??? Thanks.

The float itself is connected to a tab that presses a plunger usually with
a rubber tip into the fuel inlet passage. If there is something between the rubber tip (or brass) and the passage seat, your bowl will always over flow with the gas valve on. Also if the float height is set wrong, then the gas will rise in the bowl up to the over flow passage.
