Installed mine today, I did it myself then rode to the dealer in limp mode. Exhaust install was easy, so was removing the exhaust valve. Removing all of the emissions junk was a bit annoying, you have to remove the airbox, including the shower injectors and even the throttle bodies to get access to some things. They didn't have instructions for removing the sas valve, although they included the block off plates. Annoyingly, they didn't included something to plug where sas breather hose to the airbox used to go so I just used a large screw in hole to the airbox to block it off. Anyone else notice this?
I don't notice any difference in power or improvement in throttle response, maybe a tad bit more. Comes up in 3rd right at 7k rpm, but it always did that. It rides noticeably rough below 3.5k rpm now, it's definitely running much richer, not an issue, just adds character.
Sounds awesome, although a little louder then I hoped, it's a bit much in the city.
The finish on the tail pipe and under side muffler are really nice, but the pipes not so much. I ended up using some scotch brite to clean up the finish and it looks perfect now.
I do like the looks much better in person, it's really mean looking. And now you can tell it has a single sided swing arm, and my BST carbon fiber wheels!!
I wish the bike revved faster though. I want to get a lighter flywheel. I'm at mx guy so my baseline is my 450, which hits the rev limiter in like .3 seconds
