How do you reset the general failure error message?

Hello,
I've just fitted a battery tender lead to the battery on my 1290 and now have a 'general failure' error message I believe this is because a disconnected the battery. Anyone know how i reset the error?

I had this same issue when I connected an SAE pigtail to the battery (so I can connect a battery tender or air pump). I did reconnect the battery terminals and have this General Failure warning. What was your issue? Did you just not connect the battery terminals?

How do you reset the general failure error message?
