Need help finding out what year my engine is

Hello everyone!

I am relatively new to the world of dirt bikes. I want to start teaching myself how to do maintenance, but I have no idea what year the engine is on my bike. The bike's frame is a 2014 125 SX, but I know that the engine was swapped with a 200. The numbers listed on the engine are 450 30 005 300R. How do I found out what year it was produced? Thank you in advanced.

Welcome to the forum. You are looking for a number that has been stamped/engraved in to the engine. Normally you find this number under the cylinder on the left side. On older engines it can sometimes also be found around the gearshift area or on the right side of the engine under the cylinder.

If you fail in finding the number take pictures of your motor and put them up here and we should be able to determine what engine you have.
