Man they are putting it to you at 400 euro ? I just bought a brand new one and when I got home found 2 sapres that I had tucked away in a box,so I used one of those and still have a spare. I would be willing to ship you the brand new one at half that cost. Steve

I guess that price is with the reciever included..i saw the on the net for € 113/piece..
Anyway, i need two and that's why i want to try to change the battery's.
Otherwise, i rode without that gimmick for 42 years..

 

I just replaced mine a couple months ago on a 2015 1190 R.At first it will take a long time to tell you the tire pressure.Like 3-4.And then you’ll get a TPMS failure notice on the dash. I bought the bike used and it happened on the way home.$145 each sensor.One hour labor each wheel.1/2 to program.But the bike was sitting for five years.

 

An update:
It was a bit of a hassle; but i found the original sensors at a dutch company.
Not aftermarket. They are from "Schrader". The old oem's are the same, but don't have the ktm brand on it (like said on some fora).
They were €58 a piece +€8 shipping.
Still high price compared to car's. Half of te ktm price...makes you realize ( once more) that they are not really our friends.
Anyway when installed, i rode 7km with the numbers on zero...suddenly the correct pressure on the dash. It's important to have one working sensor to learn the other!
I hope the other lasts a while, i have still 6,5 mm on my rear Trailmax Mission..
When i have some spare time left, i will try to change the battery of the old sensor..
