Which Lithium Battery are you using?

I originally purchased a BikeMaster BMP14-FP, the recommended size for my gen 1 SDR. It seemed to work about the same as the Yuasa it replaced, until the temps dropped into the 50's. I tried every lithium trick in the book, it just wouldn't turn the bike over as temps approached 50°f.

I then bought an AntiGravity ATX-12-HD. It has worked great as low as I've tested it, down to the mid 40's, with no noticable loss of performance. It also has a restart feature I haven't had to try yet. Spendy, but very nice.

I just purchased a 2015 1190 R and has a Shoria LFX19A4-BS12 in it. I emailed them asking about the voltage when resting.Mines 13.0 . I sent a picture of the battery and he said it most be 7-8 years old.I think the resting voltage should be higher so I’m looking for another. The bike is from Washington state and has been to Prudhoe Bay Alaska. Now it resides in North Idaho.
My new this year Anti Gravity lithium shows 13v resting on the dash. It's been starting my 2015 SDR without hesitation down to the mid 40's so far. Your battery might have more life left than you think!

I put it on a battery tender and it took less than five minutes for the light to go from red to green.I’ll keep an eye on it.I appreciate the response.
I wondered when I first installed it, and have meant to put a volt meter on it to see if the voltage shown on the dash is different than it reads at the terminals.

Unfortunately I'm easily distracted and it's been working so I've forgotten.

Keep us posted on how it's working if you keep it, or if you see improvement if you replace it.
