I wanted to get a 250 SX as I've been a 2 stroke guy since always. I've been running Maxima K2 or 927 for my bikes for a while now but does anyone here have any good suggestions on what other premix works well with KTM 2 strokes?

AMSOIL is one of the 100:1 oils. As matter of fact, Not only the First to implement 100:1 mix but The First 2 Cycle Synthetic oil.

High-performance 2-cycle oil with an emphasis on exhaust power valves. Contains high levels of detergent additives to prevent valve sticking. Replaces manufacturer-branded oils. Injector use or 50:1 premix. Excellent in snowmobiles, motorcycles, PWC, ATVs and jet boats.

All oils will burn differently so the Mix Ratio is a guide.
Start at the recommended ratio. Take note of exhaust smoke and look at the plug for wet soot.
In the exhaust, you should notice just a nery light haze of blue smoke. If it is very noticeable, lean it out a little at a time.
At 32:1, I bet that Kawi smoked pretty good no matter what oil you used.

OH NO !!!! I better get the 100:1 out of my 14,200 RPM Husqvarna...
On second thought... I ran a tank of 150:1 and it is still singing just fine.
