You'll be seeing some pics of THIS bike on the trail soon enough, I've already ridden it into the Gila Wilderness, but that was a check ride (or familiarization ride) for my new* thumper, so not many pics were taken... I was too busy having fun, lol. However, I'll be riding into "The Gila" (as locals call it) this coming week, and I'll be sure to share shots with y'all, this part of SW New Mexico is f#%ng awesome, with peaks rising above 10,000' elevation north of Silver City (my new home). It's a PARADISE for trail riders, I already picked up free trail maps from the USFS Ranger District Office here in Silver City, and I'm gonna put those trail maps to good use, lol.

You purists, forgive the pump shot, I'm in the boondocks here in Silver City, and the nearest places to buy ethanol-free gas are 2 hours away, while the pure gas sold in cans off the shelf is too expensive, I can't afford the whorehouse prices, lol. I plan to ride the bike regularly anyway, and add stabilizer just in case... hopefully I burn through the corn cr@p in premium gas before its age becomes a problem, and the bike has plenty of power for this hand when I twist the throttle, ethanol cr@p or no ethanol cr@p. It's just hard to find ethanol-free gas in this state, maybe it's different elsewhere.

"Six months without enduro?" o_O

Even over the summer?

Holy Cow! That's some sort of gubmint law or restriction? :cautious:

Man, I couldn't live there with that sort of BS... gotta be able to ride 24/7/365!

Try swapping those knobbies for slicks over the summer and start riding on track. That'll change your mind! XD
Next year i will combine the two 😅

Ain't givin' up my Dunlop knobbies... I only ride pavement to get to the trailheads and into the wilderness, that's where the real freedom is, lol. ;)

My rice rocket days are pretty much over, at this point in my life I like riding trails & seeing the wildlife... heaps of deer, elk, wild turkey, and many other interesting critters!

Very few "badge bullies" or tweekin' crackerheads! The folks ya meet out there in the mountains & desert are like-minded folks, out to have fun, yeah? I usually wind up partying with 'em on the trail!

Some of the forest trails are SO COOL, all kinds of places to hang out for a bit and par-tay... and no oversight committee, electronic tracking, gubmint interference, etc. Call it PARADISE!!! :D
