125 Duke 2016 - So it was going to happen sooner or later, dropped my lovely bike at slow speed, bending in both the rear brake pedal and front brake lever, very keen to get these fixed asap so going to do it myself, is this a straightforward operation ? Any advice, any do's and dont's would be much appreciated !

Welcome! Dropping it is all part of the ownership experience 
The replacements are straightforward, nothing you have to worry about. Buy the parts that will fit and you'll be able to figure out which bolts to take out in order to remove the brake lever and pedal. Shouldn't take you more than 10 minutes.
