No there's no need to disconnect the head light nor the tail light only the turn signals in Greece the full system cost around 2600€ including map and installation at least in Greece. I dont know the rest of the Europe but my dealer installed the full system and everything worked great i also installed the magicbox and my turn lights works great also.
thank you sir. I am in the USA, but it shouldn’t be different. I plan on doing the work around for the indicators.

i create version 2.0 of the magicbox that you can have the ability the alarm systems use the turn signals for indicators for arm disarm and alarm mode when bike is off i will post all the details next week :)
 
that is exactly what I was expecting. I better call another dealer. I am not getting a good vibe from these guys. They also didn’t bolt down my gas tank in the rear when doing some warranty work on the rear cylinder head cover gasket..
Is your dealer in La Marque or Katy? Hopefully not the former. That's where I got my 2020.

The closest to me is in Katy. I called them first and they also wanted to charge ~$350 extra for the map.. on top of the install. I passed on that offer. Then I called La Marque. Those guys didn’t charge for the map. Anyway , I decided to take it to Austin to TJ’s where I have better contacts , where I bough the bike with referral from my trusted Ducati tech , and they already did one bike about 3 weeks ago with no issues. Katy told me that all lights will be disabled. When I asked La Marque the same, they didn’t know and then called back stating that they checked with “KTM guy” and he confirm the same. TJ said no such thing..

Race map installed at TJ’s in Austin. No bs, lights work fine. TJ’s is just awesome. Great group of people there who race and know what the hell is up. Can’t recommend them enough.

Thanks for the update. Did you order Akra through them or through Rottweiler or someone else? How does it feel now that you've installed?

I purchased from kfm-motorraeder in Germany. I sometimes buy big ticket items from Europe. kfm has good prices and very well run business and responsive. You do pay 80 euros for DHL shipping, which is extremely quick and I had to Pay 40 bucks for customs. Honestly, sometimes it is easier to just order through a good dealer. I just wanted to do the install myself Or most of it.
it sounds amazing At stand still, I didn’t put the rest of the bike back together and I need to do the indicators. It is a bit louder and very deep. Pure menace, but not insanely loud like some short cans from SC. I also want to polish pipes with scotch brite and then 000 steel wool to get rid of any stains, so it is all just very nice blue without any imperfections. This is my 6th Akra exhaust, but on this one they could have done a better finish on headers IMO.

Just finished wiring. I follow Toni’s method exactly. It was not hard at all.
A few tips from me:
you will need to slightly lift the tank to get access to front indicators. There are 4 bolts that hold the tank down. They are very visible. Unhook both hoses going to the gas cap, mark which one is which. Slightly let them out. Then lift the tank (better empty). And stick a piece of 2x4 between air box and tank. Let it rest.
Indicators are behind rubber Organizers. RH side is marked green. Left side is marked red. Just like planes. Same in the rear. This is the easiest to find them as colors tape is very visible.

I also purchased enclosure in Lowe’s. Electrical section. It works well. Piece of pipe is to reduce diameter of holes somewhat . I inserted enclosure in place where flapper motor used to bE.
Everything else is straight forward.

Great job Thorny :) i like the way you do it i was inspired by Tony also as i mentioned in previous post but i didn't like the idea of cutting my bike cables thats why i did it with original connector clips :) also i have realised that this circuit dont give me the ability to use the hazard lights when my bike is off and dont give me the ability to have my alarm notify me about arm disarm lights and blinking when my alarm is activated. That's why i found a different circuit to implement that gives me all this abilities my magicbox V.2
 
Errrr, Im annoyed. I ordered this thing in early May.... then scoured the internet for shops that may have one in stock. Couldnt find anything. Still waiting :( Its going to be snowing by the time I get one.

3.19 sec (Akra) vs 3.33 sec (stock) 0-60 mph. Aim Solo DL 2 data. Maybe some of it me getting better of the line, but it feels more ferocious, especially in 3rd gear. It pulls massive wheelies in 3rd with WOT. Love it !
Sounds is absolutely badass. iPhone can’t record the intensity unfortunately.
Did a few 1/4 mile starts in the fields, top speed has increased from 137 to 140.4 mph.
The look gets sicker with it getting more blue.

Where are these fields? I live inside the loop (Montrose area)... kind of a drought of good riding roads.
