So now I have an immobilizer failure showing on my screen. Have to tell you I've had defects with this KTM. Its a 2021 890 R with 900 miles on it. Cruise control defect upon delivery which was the brake lever sensors, dealer replaced. Bolts missing and in wrong place on pan, discovered at first oil change. Defective front tire which had to be replaced. Dealer was 100 miles away.
And now I get an Immobilizer failure on the screen. Key is original, will check batter voltage. Bike starts and runs.
I've owned Harleys and Honda's. Never had any of these problems. Considering KTM's Quality Image and price, I'm surprised by all of this. Frankly, I think I'm selling the bike. I didn't buy it to play around with the electronics, which I think are prone to failure and unnecessary. 5 Harleys, 0 defects. 2 Honda's 0 defects.
Can anybody help with the immobilizer?
