Bike is a 2014 SDR. Rather than buying the kit KTM sells, I just want new orings. I did the oil change and used the old screens and orings. Now I have a leak. I would like to just change the oring on the fly while putting a vacuum to the filler spout so oil loss is minimal.

Anyone know the sizes needed? If I can’t get a replacement I’ll just order the kit for $92 but would rather not.

Thank Paul. The problem around here is the dealers don't stock anything I ever need. Pretty pathetic If want to order the o-rings they'll sell me a 10 pack and I'll wait 1 week. Order and wait is their M.O.

I bought an generic o-ring kit awhile back. Since then, I can't find a single match for any of them on either of my bikes. I was thinking more along the lines of finding the dimensions and checking outside the dealership circles.

For those that change all 3 orings, how do you get to the 12.5 x 1.5 that sits at the head end under the screw. I assume you can separate the head by pulling on it without damaging anything? It seems very tight. I ordered new screens for this time but will stock o-rings now for future use.

If I remember there's a Phillips screw in there. I don't see a need for swapping that o-ring out though.
